Egyptian Exports to Nigeria are Limited to $100 Million

Egyptian annual exports to Nigeria, population of 160 million, are limited to $ 100 million. This was announced by the Egyptian Ambassador to Abuja, Mr. Yousef Shawki, indicating that Egypt Air operates weekly 14 flights to the largest three Nigerian Cities including Abuja, Lagos and Kano. The official noted that the Egyptian Government is now strongly promoting and encouraging Egyptian companies to participate in trade fairs and industrial exhibitions in the country. The Egyptian presence in the country includes Egyptian Nigerian joint ventures and operations of multinational firms having a regional office in Cairo.
