The European commission, the executive branch of the EU, promised to present an aid of 22 million Euros (U.S. $30.36 million) to support Egyptian farmers and another 23.5 Euros (U.S. $32.42 million) to support the youth in Algeria. The European commission said during its statement the aid to Egypt will enable farmers to get more funds. It will also increase production in many fields, including dairy products and the agricultural sector. They presented these aids to improve farmers’ living-circumstances.
The European commission the send aid to help youth, less than 35 years of age, to find jobs in Algeria. This category represents 70 percent of the Algerian society. The EU said they allocated 122 million Euros (U.S. $168.25 million) to Egypt and 58 million (U.S. $79.99 million) Euros to Algeria in the current year.
