Prime Minister Kamal Ganzouri held a meeting on 7/1/2012 to discuss the latest developments regarding contracts, which were reviewed by a committee in charge of settling investors' contracts and ending disputes. The meeting discussed means to settle disputes in the last three contracts which were revised by the committee; namely of Al-Futtaim Group, Damac Group and Al Ayyat company.
In statements after talks, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Fayza Abul-Naga said that discussions will continue. The contracts will be presented to the Cabinet during its upcoming meeting, added Abul-Naga. The settlement of disputes drives home a message that the state honors its commitments and seeks to regain its rights in price differences of lands, owned by these companies, according to Abul-Naga.
