Egyptian stocks are slipping 0.87 per cent in early Monday trade, falling to 4,544.4 points 90 minutes into the session. The broader EGX70 is falling 1.6 per cent.
The financial services sector is seeing some of the biggest drops, dragged down by losses of 4.6 per cent for investment bank EFG-Hermes, following news its chief executive was barred from travelling to the Emirates on Sunday by airport officials. Of the roughly 140 stocks listed on the exchange, around a dozen are seeing gains. |
