Prime Minister, Dr. Kamal al-Ganzouri will dedicate himself within the few forthcoming days to assess the Egyptian economic program that has already been prepared by the Finance Ministry as a prelude to submitting it to the International Monetary fund (IMF) for an LE3.2 billion loan.
The Premier’s assessment of the program precedes forwarding it to the People’s Assembly’s ad hoc committees for debate, said Momtaz al-Saeed the Finance Minister.On the other hand, Jerry Rice Director of the External Relations at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), announced that discussions are currently being underway between Egypt and the IMF.Jerry Rice was replying to a question on the measures the IMF asked the Egyptian government to adopt to overcome the current economic problems.
