Investments of world companies in oil and natural gas prospecting and developing old fields and wells exceeded $ 8 billion in Egypt, said Hani Dahi the Chief Executive Officer of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC).
German, Italian, French, Russian, U.S., Dutch and Malaysian companies are among oil enterprises operating in Egypt. Dahi further pointed out that an international tender was floated by EGPC for oil prospecting in the Gulf of Suez, Western Desert, Sinai and Mediterranean Sea. |
