A joint cooperation agreement was signed between Cemex - Assuit Cement Co. and Hassan Allam Sons for Contracting to cooperate in introducing the concrete built roads technology in Egypt. Development is supported by huge forth coming investments projected for the roads construction industry and the ample availability of cement, deemed a major component of concrete mixtures to be used in the new technology which cuts roads construction costs tangibly. Development worth monitoring.
