Transport Minister Galal Saeed said that the government is keen to develop and construct Sinai as an Egyptian strategic target, establishing several land axes to link Sinai with the Nile Valley.
The minister pointed out these axes are vehicles tunnel South Port Said , railways tunnel beneath Suez Canal with atotal cost estimated at $5 billion , adding the economic, financial, technical feasibility studies will be an important base to secure the project finance either from the state budget or international and Arab funds. |
