Prime Minister Kamal Ganzouri has approved to ear mark LE 282 million for the land reclamation sector affiliated to Ministry of Agriculture to start reclaiming the planned areas within the national project for land reclamation in the Fiscal year 2012/2013. These areas are estimated at 23,000 acres in northern Sinai and the Bahariya Oasis. Abdul Aziz Sheta, the head of the land reclamation sector said that these funds will be transferred to the sector from the Ministry of Finance after holding reclamation tender for the specialized companies.
