Head of the protocol department at Turkey's foreign ministry Salim Levent Sahinkaya received copies of the credentials of HE Salem Mubarak Al Shafi as ambassador of Qatar to Turkey. The Turkish official wished the Qatari ambassador pleasant stay and success in his new post, stressing Turkey's keenness on developing its ties with Qatar. HE the ambassador met with Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Naci Koru and Assistant Undersecretary Omer Onhon, who both welcomed him and praised the distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries, wishing him success in his job.
