Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Cooperation Zeyad Bahaa Eddin on 21/1/2014 said that relations between Egypt and Italy are distinguished.
In press statements, he added that he held talks on 20/1/2014 with visiting Secretary General of the Italian Foreign Ministry Michele Valensise. The Italian side has responded to all requests by the Egyptian sides, he noted. They also considered the possibility of allocating € 20 million on the part of Italy for financing the processes of importing Italian commodities. He added that Italy is a major trade partner with Egypt. Valensise has confirmed Italy's support for Egypt at the technical and economic levels, he noted. |
