The coming period in the Suez Canal Authority's history is promising and difficult at the same time, SCA Chairman Mohab Mamish said.
The SCA is getting poised to apply a comprehensive plan to develop its maritime services, Mamish said in press statements on the sidelines of a meeting with members of the French Chamber of Commerce. SCA recorded the highest revenues since its inception as it made over $5.31 billion last year, Mamish said, adding that indicators show that this year's profits are even bigger. He noted that about 25,000 Egyptian people are working in the Suez Canal, denying that there are foreign workers in the Suez Canal. |
