Stock indices recorded collective declines at the end of Monday’s trading, affected by the selling of Arab funds and corporations as well as that of Egyptian investors, while foreign funds and corporations preferred to buy.
The capital market lost LE2.2 billion to close at LE528.2 billion in transactions of LE1 billion. The main EGX30 index fell by 0.21 percent to 9703.446 points, the small and medium stocks EGX70 index fell by 1.42 percent to 651.44 points and the broader EGX100 index fell by 0.82 percent to 1171.47 points. |
