Prime Minister Mohammed Salem Basindwa met separately with ambassadors of Britain and China to Yemen.
During their meetings, Basindwa reviewed with the ambassadors the latest developments on the national scene and their negative implications on the situation in the country, as well as the roles of Britain and China in supporting Yemen to overcome the current impasse, complete the transitional stage according to the GCC initiative and its executive mechanism and implement the outcomes of the national dialogue conference. The premier praised the support of the two friendly countries to Yemen in the political and development fields within the framework of the ten countries sponsoring Gulf initiative. Basindwa noted that the current developments require more political and economic support to Yemen to be able complete the transitional phase with the participation of all parties on the national scene. For their part, the two ambassadors affirmed their countries' positions in support of Yemen politically and developmentally to overcome the current challenges facing it. |
