During their meeting, al-Salal briefed the Kuwaiti and Qatari officials on the developments of the political scene in Yemen and efforts exerted by President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi to achieve more consensus among all political forces to complete the remaining stages of the political settlement based on the Gulf-brokered deal.

The meeting, which came at the end of the 142nd Regular Session at the Arab foreign ministerial level, the Kuwaiti and Qatari officials expressed their countries' fully support to Yemen and the President's efforts to complete the transitional stage to maintain Yemen's security, stability and unity.
