Investment Minister Ashraf Salman, on a visit to China, held a meeting with a senior official at Huawei Company.
Huawei is a global information and communication technology company that has branches in over 100 countries all over the world, including Egypt. According to a statement by the investment ministry, the meeting tackled ways of increasing the Chinese company's activities in the Egyptian market. Salman stressed the Egyptian government's keenness to lure investors to pump more investments into the Egyptian market. The Chinese official, for his part, expressed his company's plans to establish a huge project in Egypt very soon. He also hailed Egypt's strategic role in the region. |
