An increase in the budget allocated for achieving social justice reflects the government’s desire to make progress in this file, said Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab.
Mahlab made the remarks during a meeting of a ministerial committee for social justice, Cabinet Spokesman Hossam Qawish said. For his part, Finance Minister Hany Qadry briefed the committee on social programs that are meant to serve the public and improve quality of their life. He added that the social spending allocations will be increased by EGP 52 billion to reach nearly EGP 435 billion in the new budget. |
