Minister of Irrigation Hossam Moghazy and Italian Ambassador in Cairo Maurizio Massari signed an agreement to boost cooperation between the two countries in the field of water resources management.
Under the agreement, a number of projects would be funded by the European Union in Minya, Fayyoum and Matrouh. The Italian government has expressed readiness to participate in some projects in Alexandria. The meeting also took up the national plan to reclaim 1.5 million feddans in Egypt. |
