Three Saudi mega tourist projects, worth billions of dollars, will be opened in Egypt in the coming period, Minister of Tourism Hisham Zaazou said.
Speaking to the Saudi paper of Al Eqtisadiah, Zaazou said Egypt was evidently open for any investments in general, especially after modifying the foreign investment law and easing red tape procedures for businessmen through the policy of the "single-window" for handling papers and documents for investors. The Egyptian minister noted that the number of Saudi tourists has noticeably increased from January to August by 34.6 percent, to reach 288,000, compared to the same period in 2014. They spent more than USD 46 million. |
