Arab trade ministers met on 14/10/2015 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's capital Riyadh for coordinating the Arab stance in the World Trade Organization (WTO) before the 10th ministerial conference, which will be held in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.
"The meeting aims at boosting inter-Arab trade cooperation," Saudi Minister of Commerce and Industry Tawfiq Al-Rabiah said. It also aims at supporting the Arab countries that want to join the WHO, Rabiah said. For his part, Industry Minister Tariq Qabil stressed the importance of coordinating stances among the developing countries within the framework of the WTO, especially the Arab and African groups. This aims at serving the interests of these countries, he went on to say. |
