Prime Minister Sherif Ismail met on 22/10/2015 with representatives of the World Bank (WB) and the African Development Bank (AFDB).
The get-together was attended by ministers of electricity, finance, investment, international cooperation, petroleum as well as trade and industry. The government has a strong will to flourish the Egyptian economy and improving the atmosphere of investment, said the cabinet spokesman Hossam Qawish. The projects of the basic infrastructures and services are cornerstone of improving the economy so as to provide job opportunities, the spokesman reiterated. For their part, representatives of the World Bank (WB) and the African Development Bank (AFDB) underlined their commitment to the cooperation with the Egyptian government so as to implement its economic program. They hailed the measures taken by the cabinet to provide the attracting atmosphere to investments. |
