Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tareq el Molla said on 24/10/2015 Egypt will be a regional center for energy of oil and natural gas.
At a press conference, the minister added that the power crisis in Egypt came to an end, thanks to the imported liquefied natural gas (LNG). The minister pointed out that debts to foreign partners were paid back in a step meant to assure foreign partners and encourage more investments on the Egyptian market. Egypt is working hard to increase the output of oil and minerals, he pointed out. The minister said the ministry is seeking to increase gas and oil exploration agreements. |
