Engineer Sherif Ismail, chairman of the Council of Ministers, held a meeting to follow up the developments of the situation the executive board for the establishment of the city of Damietta furniture, in the presence of the ministers of planning, investment, trade and industry, Damietta Governor, the Chairman of the Industry Modernization Center.
Ambassador Hussam Alkawesh the official spokesman for the presidency of the Council of Ministers, mentioned that engineer Sherif Ismail during the meeting quickly will take the necessary measures to start the executive steps of the project, to invest in Egypt competitive advantages in the furniture industry in complementary industries to reach global competitiveness. During the meeting, Damietta Governor had an offer to ensure the implementation of the steps in the project in preparation to enter the city into effect in a timely manner, confirming that he is being completed technical studies and finance the project, noting that the city of Damietta furniture designed to investment in complementary sectors to provide job opportunities for the people of Damietta governorate and the surrounding provinces, and the need for the introduction of technology in furniture industry, the opening of exhibitions and new markets for export abroad. |
