Sherif Ismail Met with the Chinese Central Bank Governor

At the beginning of the meeting welcomed the prime minister visited the Chinese president and his entourage, as well as the chairman of the Chinese central bank, expressing appreciation for the fact that this is the first visit to the Middle East by Chinese president since he took office.

The prime minister stressed that Egypt is ready for cooperation with the Chinese side in the projects of the various investment, particularly in the economic area of the Suez Canal, confirming the commitment of the Egyptian government to work to improve the investment climate, as well as the infrastructure and providing incentives for investment, indicating that the government aims to achieve a growth rate of more than 5.5% even reflected on the Egyptian citizen.

The prime minister expressed that he is looking forward to the signing the agreed conventions before Mr. President Abdul Fattah Al-sisi with the Chinese President Shi Jean Ping in various fields including energy, electricity, transport, and the capital of the new administrative, confirming that Egypt welcomes the cooperation with China in various projects EPC system Finance, and that it is keen to continue the economic reforms despite the challenges in the region, expressing his aspiration for China to support the economic reforms carried out by Egypt to the stability of the region in the coming stage.

The prime minister also assured that Egypt supports the initiative of the president of China to revive economic belt of the Silk Road, indicating that the projects undertaken by the logistical areas, industrial and will support this historic project, and Egypt's unique position and the position to undertake this role.

The prime minister emphasized looked forward to work with the Chinese central bank, indicating that there are many promising investment opportunities, which benefit the Chinese investors and the Egyptians, and contribute to the maximization of the joint cooperation between the two countries. He added that the loans that the Chinese Central Bank signed with each of the Central Bank of Egypt and the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr, will have a positive return, particularly as Egypt attaches great importance to the advancement of in small and medium-sized companies, which are a catalyst for economic growth and improve the level of citizens.

On his part, Chinese central bank governor to the importance of the visit of the Chinese president to Egypt, confirming that the loan granted by the Central Bank of Egypt to the value of one billion dollars, in addition to the 700 million dollars with the National Bank of Egypt, and 100 million dollars with the Bank of Egypt, will contribute to the promotion of investment cooperation between the two countries.

He also confirmed the keenness of the Chinese central bank to increase cooperation with Egypt, indicating that the monitor the situation of the Egyptian economy, especially after President Abdul Fattah Al-sisi, completion of the realization of the road map, and the stability of the situation in Egypt, he said, adding that the leaders of the two countries meet in thought and construction development is reflected in the initiative of the president of China to revive economic belt of the silk road, as well as the giant projects adopted by president Abdul Fattah Al-sisi, and confirmed the follow-up to the World Bank for those projects on top of the new administrative capital, economic zone of the Suez Canal.

And other economic new exploration, including the field of 'back' of the Mediterranean Sea, confirming that the Chinese Central Bank looked forward to provide the necessary funds to developmental projects.
