Transport Minister Saad el Gioushy and French Ambassador to Egypt Andre Parant witnessed the start of the digging works of a new underground phase.
The 5.15-kilometer of the fourth phase of the third line of Cairo's Metro costs 4.3 billion pounds. It includes five metro stations from Haroun El Rashid to Nozha. Negotiations are underway to sign the contracts of the third phase of the new Metro line, Gioushy said, noting that the work progress in Phase four is scheduled to be launched in two months. |
