The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, DCCI, through its representative office in Accra, has organised a workshop and luncheon for ambassadors and members of diplomatic corps of West African countries in the Ghanaian capital, Accra.
The workshop aimed to present an outline to participants about investment and the business environment in the country and the advantages of investing and establishing businesses in Dubai, in addition to highlighting the most important areas of joint co-operation between the two sides in the coming years and to stimulate investment and co-operation between business communities. The workshop saw the participation of representatives from the embassies of the Republics of Benin, Burkina Faso, Cote d'Ivoire, Togo, Liberia, Mali and Nigeria, as well as representatives of the Chamber of Commerce of Burkina Faso, along with a number of companies and Gulf institutions operating in Ghana. The Dubai Chamber's representatives visited the Ghana Free Zone in order to enhance opportunities for joint co-operation between the business communities in Dubai and Ghana, in addition to visiting Ghana's steel manufacturing industry, Tema. |
