 The government will continue to support the tourism sector and provide it with necessary funding, Prime Minister Sherif Ismail said.
The government is committed to offering the funding needed to launch huge tourism promotional campaigns in traditional and new markets, while depending on companies experienced in promoting tourism, the premier said during a meeting Tuesday night with the tourism committee that was attended by the ministers of civil aviation, finance, antiquities and tourism and the governors of South Sinai, the Red Sea, Luxor and Aswan. During the meeting, the officials agreed for the first time to allow the private sector participate in the campaigns, while driving them to targeted markets. Other campaigns will be organized to spread awareness about the importance of tourism and its positive impact on economy. The meeting allocated funding needed to complete the el Sheikh Museum project for its opening soon. |
