 Egyptian Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Mohamed Abdel Aati said that a cooperation protocol was signed with Kenya on digging a number of water wells and establishing joint farms.
The remark was made during Abdel Aati’s inspection of Gomhouria canal and other projects in Fayyoum governorate. He was accompanied by Kenyan Irrigation Minister Eugene Wamalwa and Fayyoum Governor Wael Makram. During the tour, the minister said a new water plant will be established to feed the canal at a cost of EGP 70 million. |
