 As many as 144 industrial projects obtained the final approvals to set up new projects inside and outside industrial zones at total investments reaching 1.8 billion pounds in July 2016 against 91 projects at a cost of 1.9 billion pounds in the same period last year, announced Trade and Industry Minister Tarek Qabil.
The remark was mentioned in a report obtained by the minister from the General Authority for Industrial Development on the performance of the industrial sector during July 2016. The improvement witnessed in the industrial investment climate in July came as a result of measures taken over the past phase to encourage industrial investment and lure more foreign investments in the industrial sphere, he added. The ministry encourages the serious investor and provides him with all facilities, he further said. |
