 Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry held a meeting with a delegation of the Business Council for American Security,visiting Egypt.
The US delegation expressed keenness on boosting relations between the two countries and praised the leading role played by Egypt to maintain security in the Mideast region, Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Abu Zeid said. The delegation members noted that their visit to Egypt is meant to encourage American businessmen to pump investments into the Egyptian market and support Egypt's economy. Shoukry, for his part, praised deeply-rooted relations between Egypt and the US, expressing Egypt's desire to develop ties with the US in a manner that achieves aspirations of the Egyptian and American peoples. Shoukry hailed as 'important' talks between Egypt and the US to solve the Middle East crises, especially in Syria, Libya and Palestine. He also voiced Egypt's determination to provide stability and uproot terrorism in the Middle East region. |
