A number of issues especially the follow-up on the implementation of the Greater Arab Free Trade Area (GAFTA) will be discussed at the 42nd meeting of the senior officials of Implementation and Follow-up Committee of the Arab Ministries of Economy and Trade, which started today in Cairo.
Nizar Faisal Al-Meshaal, Director of Department of Economic Agreements and Joint Committees led the UAE delegation, at the meeting held at Arab League's Secretariat-General. The meeting will also tackle the missions and tasks of the experts and specialists team in the consumer protection and periodic reports of the Arab states on the GAFTA and the unified model of periodic reports of the region. The participants will review the date and place of the 43rd meeting of the committee as well as other related topics. |
