 Cypriot President Nikos Anastasiadis received Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr during her official visit to Cyprus leading the Egyptian side to meetings of the Egyptian-Cypriot committee.
Anastasiadis expressed during the meeting full support for Egypt's efforts to realize economic development. He underlined the importance of enhancing bilateral relations., Anastasiadis hailed a three-way economic cooperation mechanism grouping Egypt, Cyprus and Greece; thus as representing an example of regional cooperation. The Cypriot president stressed keenness on increasing investments in Egypt which is a key partner to Cyprus and a cornerstone for regional security and stability. Nasr asserted Egypt's keenness on enhancing bilateral relations and increasing joint investments. She said the Egyptian government welcomes Cypriot investors to do business in Egypt, adding that Egypt adopts an open policy for encouraging investments. |
