Emirates NBD Enables DEWA Customers to Pay in Instalments of Up to 12 Months at No Extra Charge

Emirates NBD has signed an agreement with Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, DEWA. This will enable the bank’s customers to pay their bills in instalments up to 12 months, with no interest or extra charge.

To use this service, customers must pay bills of AED500 or more using an Emirates NBD credit card.

The new service, in partnership with Emirates NBD, enables its customers to pay their DEWA bills in instalments effortlessly, to make everybody happy," said Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of DEWA.

"Aligned to our leaders’ vision of making Dubai a globally-leading smart city, Emirates NBD has introduced innovative services that simplify and improve the lives of the city’s residents.

We are delighted to empower customers with the option of paying their DEWA bills in interest-free instalments via digital platforms, bringing them greater convenience and flexibility," said Abdulla Qassem, Group Chief Operating Officer of Emirates NBD.

The new application allows payment of bills in instalments of up to 12 months for customers using Emirates NBD credit cards, with no interest or extra fees.

This process can be carried out via Emirates NBD’s online or mobile banking or on its smart application, which offer customers the option of choosing an instalment payment plan

. Customers can also opt for this service by contacting the bank’s customer service on 800 ENBD (3623).
