An international conference on internal auditing will be held in Dubai on May 6-9 to discuss business innovations in areas of internal auditing, show the best the profession has to offer and provides participants from around the world with an understanding of the latest developments in this field.
Under the sponsorship of Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Institute of Internal Auditors International Conference will be organised by Dubai Convention and Events Bureau, which spearheads Dubai's drive to becoming the world’s premier destination for business events, in close collaboration with the UAE Internal Auditors Association and the Dubai World Trade Centre. The four-day event is expected to draw more than 3500 auditors from 110 world countries to discuss the latest business developments in areas of internal accounting and auditing, through a rich exchange of knowledge and expertise. The conference upholds the importance of implementing innovation within operative practices which will enable auditors to better meet primary stakeholder expectations through organisational changes and strategic initiatives and efficiency. Esam Kazim, CEO, Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing, commenting on the event, said positive partnerships with different professional associations from all over the world play an eminent role in ensuring an effective exchange of knowledge and expertise which ultimately reflects positively on the development of such specialised occupations all over the world." "Such conferences efficiently contribute to enhancing the status of Dubai as an ideal destination for business tourism and a leading knowledge exchange hub," he added. The conference will provide a distinguished platform for internal auditors from around the world to interact and exchange knowledge with thought leaders over fundamental issues with close relevance to financial auditing through in-depth syndicate and panel sessions. It's noteworthy that Dubai participated in the IIA International Conference 2017 which was held in Sydney recently. |
