 The economic ministerial committee convened under acting Prime Minister and Minister of Housing and Urban Communities Mostafa Madbouli to discuss several economic files.
The ministerial panel is expected to tackle files relevant to improving services provided to citizens in various sectors, luring investments and reviewing the work progress of the projects being implemented nationwide. The meeting is set to take up ways to promote the establishment of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in light of their vital role in achieving the objectives of the sustainable development strategy in various sectors, providing job opportunities and boosting competitive capabilities of the domestic products. It will touch on the role of the private sector in achieving objectives of the sustainable development plans due to its contribution to establishing several development and services projects in various spheres. Providing basic and strategic commodities at affordable prices will be also discussed during the meeting. Attending the meeting are the ministers of investment and international cooperation, finance, public business sector, supplies, agriculture as well as planning, monitoring and administrative reform and transport. |
