This came during his meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli and Public Business Sector Minister Hisham Tawfiq. The public business sector minister reviewed his ministry's plan of action, vision and objectives which seek to develop affiliate companies during the coming phase, Presidential Spokesman Ambassador Bassam Rady said. Tawfiq also shed light on the challenges that face a number of the public business sector's companies and obstacles that the ministry is working to overcome, a move that comes in line with the restructuring plan, according to the spokesman. Tawfiq asserted the importance of benefiting from the expertise of the private sector to support defaulting companies and improve the management of the state's investments, pointing out that the main target is to upgrade the ministry's companies as well as to rehabilitate human cadres, the spokesman added. He affirmed that coordination is underway with the Finance Ministry to follow up measures aiming to implement the government's program to put up for trading at the EGX a number of the ministry's companies, adding that his ministry is also coordinating with the Trade Ministry on means of cooperation to remove obstacles facing companies working in various industries. |
