Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr met with Founder President of the UAE-based Thumbay Group Dr. Thumbay Moideen.
Moideen said he seeks to inject investments worth AED 1 billion (some EGP 5 billion) in Egypt via the establishment of a branch of the Gulf Medical University in Egypt. He also lauded the legislative reforms taken in Egypt, where he said there is a suitable environment that encourages investors to pump more investments in the country. Meanwhile, Nasr said the ministries of investment and higher education are working together to lure investments in the higher education field in line with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s initiative to invest in the human element. |
