Ministry of Planning, Follow-Up and Administrative Reform signed a cooperation protocol with Visa Inc for electronic payment to help spread the culture of digital payment and its positive impact on economic growth.
The cooperation protocol aims to encourage entrepreneurship and support the implementation of Egypt's Vision 2030. Planning Minister Hala el Saeed said the protocol comes within the framework of the ministry's keenness to facilitate services offered to citizens. The agreement comes in light of the ministry's efforts to proceed with mechanizing services, including the e-payment system, Saeed added. The State constantly seeks to turn the society into a digital one in line with the technological developments being witnessed worldwide, Saeed said, highlighting the ministry's keenness on playing its role in achieving Egypt's Vision 2030. |
