 The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes posted collective gains , backed by purchases of local institutions and investment Funds.
The market capital gained EGP 10.2 billion to reach EGP 761.1 billion amid transactions that hit some EGP 1.3 billion. The EGX 30 benchmark index increased 1.71 percent, recording 14,148.88 points. The broader EGX 70 index of the leading small and mid-cap enterprises (SMEs) rose 0.59 percent, closing at 604.75 points. The all-embracing EGX 100 index also went up by 0.78 percent, standing at 1,544,583 points. |
