Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli has welcomed the decision of Wintershall, a German company operating in oil field, to increase investments in Egypt.
Madbouli had a meeting with Wintershall CEO Mario Mehran in the presence of Petroleum Minister Tarek El Molla, Spokesman for the Cabinet Nader Saad said. The premier reiterated that the Egyptian government is ready to provide all necessary facilitation for international companies investing in the energy sector in Egypt under President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s vision to make Egypt an energy hub in the region. Madbouli added that he follows up offering solutions for all problems that may face investors in Egypt. Mehran extended thanks to the premier and government for achievements made in the past years through creating a safe and favorable environment for investment. For his part, El Molla said his ministry currently has very good cooperation whit Wintershall, praising the intention of a number of German companies to open offices in the region. |
