Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli received Vice President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) DJ Pandian at the new government headquarters in New Alamein City.
The visit of the AIIB delegation to Egypt comes as part of the bank’s keenness on reviewing cooperation with Egypt especially amid the special status the AIIB grants to Egypt compared to other non-regional countries. Noteworthy, Egypt has been the first non-Asian country visited by AIIB delegation in November 2018. The ministers of electricity, investment, finance and transport were present during the meeting, where they expounded the potentials that could witness cooperation between Egypt and the AIIB. |
