Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli inspected the factory of Nile Linen Group company in Alexandria public free zone.
The company is specialized in producing and manufacturing fabrics and garments and has investments of about USD 85 million. The premier's inspection tour comes as part of his visit to the Mediterranean governorate. While touring the public free zone, Madbouli has listened to an explanation from Investment Minister Sahar Nasr about the area, which comprises 393 projects, with total capital of 4.6 billion dollars.Those projects provided some 50,000 jobs. The investment minister said work is underway to develop the public free zone in Alexandria, whose exports during the first six months of 2019 hit 4.8 billion dollars. Nasr added that her ministry draw up a plan to establish seven new free zones in the governorates of Minya, South Sinai, New Ismailia, Giza, Daqahlia, Aswan and Kafr al Sheikh. Those areas are expected to secure 120,000 job openings in more than 1,000 projects. |
