Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli chaired the first meeting of the Egyptian Regulatory Reform and Development Activity's (ERRADA) board of trustees.
Members of the Central Unit for the Review and Simplification of Procedures for ERRADA attended the meeting. Madbouli started by asserting the government's strong belief in the crucial importance of ERRADA initiative and the need to activate it to create a business-friendly environment. He said that the initiative has been launched to build a regulatory management system to review and streamline business related regulations in partnership with the state's administrative bodies and business community. The state is very much keen on providing all the prerequisites necessary to render the governmental initiative a success, including all financial and administrative resources, Madbouli stressed during the meeting. In this regard, the premier called for constant coordination and interaction between governmental bodies and the business community and setting out a clear-cut and well-prepared strategy for legislative and organizational reform |
