 The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) indexes gained EGP 3.1 billion over the past week, with the market capital increasing 0.4 percent to EGP 773.3 billion, compared to EGP 770.2 billion the previous week.
The EGX 30 benchmark index was up 0.66 percent, registering 14,933.18 points, the EGX said in its weekly report . The broader EGX 70 index of the leading small and mid-cap enterprises (SMEs) inched down 0.03 percent, recording 553.17 points, it added. The all-embracing EGX 100 index reportedly rose 0.99 percent, closing at 1,469.49 points. |
