Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait said that Africa enjoyed huge economic potentials which enabled it to integrate with the international economy especially amid the ongoing sustainable development efforts, aimed at making the African continent an active economic partner with all countries of the world.
According to a press release by the Finance Ministry, Maait’s remarks came during a forum organized as part of the Russia-Africa summit, held in the Russian Black Sea port city of Sochi. He called for furthering commercial cooperation between Russia and Africa, diversifying the Russian exports to the African markets, and establishing international financing channels to help encourage the growth of Africa’s share in global trade. |
