 Egypt's Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr said the Investment for Africa Forum, which is scheduled to be held in Cairo 22 November, is a window of opportunity for the African continent in promoting joint venture opportunities.
She stated that Egypt, as current chair of the African Union (AU), is playing a driving role regarding African development support, adding that the forum would cover infrastructure, renewable energy, digital transformation in Africa, entrepreneurship, women's empowerment, and human capital investment issues. "Developmental and venture agreements would be announced in the forum. Moreover, the opportunity would be provided for African leaders and businessmen to consider other new agreements. The Forum will be held in Egypt's New Administrative Capital for the sake of promoting its investment opportunities and introducing Egypt's experience in infrastructure improvement," according to Nasr. African ambassadors are eager to participate in the forum to promote investment opportunities in Africa to global corporations and investors. |
