Industry Minister Amr Nassar and Immigration Minister Nabila Makram held an extensive meeting with a delegation of five Canadian companies to discuss investment opportunities in Egypt.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 4th edition of Destination Africa 2019 textile and garment exhibition, which kicked off here earlier . They reviewed great investment opportunities available in the Egyptian market in the textiles and ready-to-wear clothes fields and the possibility of establishing joint projects to meet the needs of the local market and export to regional and African markets. The representatives of the Canadian companies lauded great efforts exerted by the Egyptian government to improve investment climate and create investment-attracting environment for foreigners. Nassar has inaugurated the exhibition, with the participation of 150 export companies alongside 230 international buyers from the US and the European Union. Destination Africa is an annual international pan-African B2B sourcing event for the textile industries in Egypt. |
