Finance Minister Mohamed Maait has said the government is keen to beef up the Singaporean investments in the country.
Maait made the remarks during his meeting here with new Singaporean Ambassador in Cairo Dominic Goh, the ministry said in a statement . The coming stage will see a qualitative leap in efforts to encourage foreign investments in Egypt in light of the great importance that the political leadership attaches to improving the business climate and removing obstacles facing investors, the minister said. Minister Maait pointed out to the ministerial group which convenes on regular basis to review challenges and obstacles facing investors and work to remove them. He also underscored the importance of benefiting from the successful Singaporean experience in operating ports and in the education, health and human development files. The Singaporean ambassador asserted his country's keenness on boosting bilateral relations with Egypt, hailing the success of Egypt's economic program. |
