CEO of the National Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (MSMEDA) Basel Rahmy said that the agency is keen on disseminating and encouraging the culture of entrepreneurship in the Egyptian society, particularly among youth, by offering different forms of assistance for creative and innovative ideas to transform them into financially viable ventures; capable of contributing to overall economic growth and paving the path for them within a new, digital, knowledge-based economy.
Addressing its opening session, Rahmy added that the Techne Summit Cairo promotes investment in Egypt's inventive young to boost the country’s position on the investment map as an influential power in its regional and global environments. The agency's mission is to encourage foreign investment managers to invest in Egypt, impart their experience to all Egyptian entrepreneurs, assist them in growing, and meet their funding needs, he said. Techne Summit is an international multi-industry-focused Investment and entrepreneurship event that aims to impact multiple sectors and stakeholders of the Startup Communities in the Mediterranean region by showcasing different technologies and their applications in each industry. |
