Cotton export has achieved good results and reached 34 thousands ton with a value of 71.5 million USD. Last season, the export reached 10 thousands ton with a value of 18 million USD. One of the exporters announced that the reason for this increase is due to US removal of protection for American Bema cotton. Another reason is the rarity of cotton in the global markets because of the recent hurricanes and tornadoes, which America and Asia had faced during the last period. The number of the nations exporting cotton has increased to 18 after Korea entered as a new importer of cotton. India and Switzerland come in the first place for cotton imports.
